Sunday nights were our favourite time of the week and it certainly won't be the same without Rob. He loved regaling us with stories of some of the things he would get up to when he was younger and some of his sayings would have us in stitches, sayings that we will still carry on. The image of him falling over the bonnet of Vern's car when she came to pick us up after a Sunday night playing cards and drinking still makes us smile. We called him our 'non-blood grandad' because he truly cared about us and he treated us like his own. Rob was such a big character around the table on a Sunday night.
